We are BeOhana, a company whose mission is to facilitate personalized cultural immersion experiences tailored to the interests of travelers. An 11-week program designed for students between the ages of 14 and 17, residing in Spain and Canada.
BeOhana offers you the opportunity to live a reciprocal exchange experience where you will improve your Spanish, regardless of your current level, and discover Spanish culture and lifestyle. With our program, you won’t be traveling to attend an intensive Spanish course, but rather, you will improve the language through everyday life by living with locals.
We will assist you in finding a partner of the same age, and during 11 weeks, each of you will experience full cultural immersion, integrating into each other’s family and school life while discovering each other’s cultures.
The exchange program consists of two phases. Spanish students arrive in Canada at the beginning of the school year and return at the beginning of November. Canadian students travel to Spain from late January to mid-April.
We invite you to explore, learn, and grow alongside a family where you will become one of them, while discovering a different culture and creating unforgettable memories and bonds.

What does our assistance and support service include?
For the 2025/2026 school year, BeOhana offers families a private assistance and support service priced at €2,500 (VAT not included). This service includes:
Management of program registration and documentation.
Candidate matching.
Preparation meetings for students and families.
Assistance with booking and issuing flight tickets and medical insurance (costs to be covered by families).
Travel support on scheduled dates.
Assistance for students during their stay in Spain.
Student kit: Informational materials, backpack, and document holder.
The expenses to be covered by the family are:
Flights: Prices vary due to the dynamic nature of airfare rates. The estimated average cost for a round-trip ticket on regular flights during the scheduled dates is €1,400.
Excess baggage fees or ticket change fees.
Medical and liability insurance.
Meals and beverages during travel.
Expenses for processing travel documentation.
Pocket money.
01. If you're interested, complete the contact form below to provide us with initial information about your profile.
02. After reviewing your profile, we will send you a series of access keys that will allow you to complete the three registration forms available under the "Application" section (until March/April 2025).
03. Once the three registration forms are submitted, the matching process will begin. If we find a match for you, we will contact you and send you the family profile for you to decide as a family whether to accept them as your partner. The same process will be carried out simultaneously in Canada. If both families agree, participation in the program will be confirmed (late May).
04. You will prepare all necessary travel documentation (passport, permissions, medical certificate, etc.), which you will send to us via another form we will provide after the confirmation of the previous phase.
05. You will attend the preparation meeting (for both parents and students).
